Martie Maguire is Emily Strayer’s older sister. She was born on October 12, 1969 in York Pennsylvania. She married Ted Seidel in 1995 & they divorced in 1999. She then married Gareth Maguire in 2001 & they divorced in 2013. They have 3 daughters, twins Eva & Kathleen & Harper Rose.
Martie helped found the Dixie Chicks in 1989. She now lives in Austin Texas.
